Sipureco handles personally sensitive personal information from time to time such as:
- race and ethnic origin, political beliefs, religious or philosophical beliefs, and trade union affiliations. This is done, for example, in connection with journalistic work and in the collaboration between Sipureco, member organizations and companies.
Sipureco maintains a confidential relationship with customers and business partners and treats confidential information, including confidential personal information, with due care so that it is not passed on to third parties.
What is personal information used for?
Sipureco uses your general personal information for various purposes:
Contact information is used to identify you among other contacts, make contact and communicate on topics of relevance to both you and Sipureco. It can for example be in connection with collaboration, newsletters, photos, videos etc.
Your interests and behavior on Sipureco’s website are used to target inquiries and / or to further develop Sipureco’s website(s).
Information that you have provided in a comment field is used for the purpose you want, eg newsletters, offers, personal inquiries, etc.

The processing takes place on the basis of a consent from the person in accordance with the nature of the Data Protection Regulation. 6 pieces. 1, letter a or art. 9, para. 2, letter a, (this will be the case, for example, by using name and e-mail to send out newsletters, registration and analysis of interests and behavior of a user of a website owned by Sipureco.

The treatment is necessary for Sipureco to fulfill an agreement with the person.
The processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
Disclosure of personal information
Sipureco discloses your information if it is necessary to fulfill an agreement with you that you have given consent to, or if Sipureco is required to do so by applicable law.
In case of journalistic source protection, Sipureco does not pass on information. Information on sources to be protected is processed separately from all other information.
Transfer to recipients in third countries, including international organizations
Sipureco uses cloud solutions and social media that transfer personal information to recipients outside the EU and the EEA. The recipients are i.a. Google and Facebook, which are located in the United States.
Origin of your personal information
The vast majority of personal information Sipureco stores and uses is publicly available from companies’ websites, public registers, news media, etc.
Retention of your information
Sipureco keeps your personal information for as long as it is necessary to process it, or it follows from applicable law. The information that the company must store in accordance with the Accounting Act is stored in the current calendar year plus 5 years.
Your rights
When Sipureco processes your personal data, you have the following rights:
You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting the company by telephone or by post. email or letter to the company address. If you withdraw your consent, it does not affect the legality of the processing that the company has already carried out on the basis of your consent.
You have the right to access your information: You can at any time gain insight into what information Sipureco processes about you and how your information is processed.
You have the right to have your information corrected if Sipureco has incorrect information about you.
In certain cases, you may have the right for Sipureco to delete your information before the time when the information would normally be deleted.
In some cases, you may have the right to have the processing of your information restricted. If you have the right to have the processing restricted, Sipureco may in future only process the information, other than storage, with your consent, or for the purpose of establishing, enforcing or defending legal claims, or to protect a person or important public interest.
In certain cases, you have the right to object to Sipureco’s processing of your personal data. You can also object to the processing of your information for direct marketing.
In certain cases, you have the right to have your personal information transferred from Sipureco to another data controller or to have it handed over in a structured and machine-readable format.
